The ideas that bring people together are the ones changing the world.
Nowhere is that more apparent than on social platforms. At Meta’s Creative Shop, a key to our role was helping people wrap their heads around the good, bad, ugly and amazing potential of social media.
“The Crowd Sings Back” is a collaborative effort to capture the essence of digital media and how it can propel an idea into the cosmic consciousness. Originally, we imagined an epic documentary centered on creativity and community. Then we were like, wait, we work at Instagram. And so the Crowd Sings Back became an intertwined series of short videos focused on the unique and bewildering aspects of how a community takes ownership of an idea through their own personal experiences and expressions across all media.
